Today is one of our special Farmer Fridays quarterly themed posts where all of the farmwives and friends blog about the same theme.  Today’s theme is “It’s a dirty job.”

Farming can be dirty.  Let’s face it we work with soil and animals most days; however, after watching several episodes of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe.  I think there are many jobs way worse and way dirtier than being a farmer.  And even though we get dirty on our family farms, none of us would trade it for anything in the world.
Each of our resident farmwives and friends have different experiences when it comes to it being “a dirty job” so be sure to check out our Facebook page to see all of the different posts from our farmwives and friends and if you aren’t yet, be sure to “like” us so you can keep up on all the dirt on and off of our family farms going forward.
Have a great Friday and weekend and try to get dirty in honor of us!!!

With all the rain we’ve had this week one can not step out a door without adding mud to one’s outfit.
