It’s almost that time again!
It’s deep fried butter…

It’s pretending to be a farmer…

It’s giant art pieces made from canned foods…

It’s little girls in cowboy boots in the cattle barn…

It’s giant pumpkins…

It’s spending some time at the Dairy Bar with family…

Our state fair is a great state fair,
Don’t miss it, don’t even be late.
It’s dollars to donuts
That our state fair
Is the best state fair in our state.

The Indiana State Fair starts on Friday and let’s just say the Real Farmwives of America and Friends are beyond excited!
We are planning to get together on Monday, August 8, with a few of our other bloggy friends out at this year’s Fair. It should be a real good time!
Until then, don’t forget to enter our giveaway for a pretty hanging basket from Avant Garden Decor here (ends today) and some cool Cowgirl Tuff Company jeans here (ends August 7).

Megan from Gal in the Middle

I'm a middle child (2nd of four girls) living in Middle America (Indiana to be exact) approaching middle age (35 is here) always in the middle of doing something (finishing is the hard part).

I have to say, I didn’t LOVE the deep-fried butter last year. It mostly just squirted everywhere. I liked the idea of it more than the execution. But I can’t wait for this year! Woohoo!
