As part of our month of giving thanks celebration, we’re excited to feature Miss Sarah from This Farm Family’s Life and what she is thankful for on her family farm.  So with no further ado, here is Miss Sarah…
This is the month of Thanksgiving and that has all of us thinking about what we are thankful for.
There are several things on my list, but probably one of the biggest is the ability to farm as a family.
I am thankful that you only have to go through the woods to get to my in-law’s house.
I am thankful that we only live about 5 miles from my parents as well.
I am thankful that I was raised on a farm.
I am extremely thankful that I am able to be a Stay-at-Home mom.  This isn’t always an easy job, but it allows me to spend more time on the farm.  Someday I hope to do more on the farm, but the girls won’t set in a tractor all day.  For now I am happy taking meals to the field.
I am thankful for my hard working husband.
I am thankful that my girls have the ability to grow up on a farm and experience it whenever they choose.
I am thankful that we can all work together as a family.

I am thankful for my cooking ability so that we can enjoy mealtime in the field.

Some days we even get to have dinner AND a show….

I am thankful for the farming community that we live in.  A local farmer’s hired hand of 27 years recently  passed away.  On Monday several farmers came to help him out.  Most of them didn’t have their own crop in, but were more than willing to help.  Amazing!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
Thanks Sarah and Happy Veterans Day!  We are thankful to all of those the gave their lives and continue to risk their lives for our freedom!

I'm a sweet tea drinking, Disney World loving, church going, full-time working, soccer mom of 3 that is proud to be raising the 5th generation of future pig, corn, and soybean farmers.
