This is definitely the time of year to indulge a little on the sweets. I mean it’s the holidays, once a year is totally OK! So when I thought about the kind of cookies to bake for Miss Jeanette (as part of the In the Cookie Kitchen project) over at Fencerow to Fencerow, I knew I wanted it to be something completely indulgent (she works hard and she deserves it!), sweet and chocolatey! After scouring the Online Recipe Box at Gooseberry Patch, for a delightfully, delicious cookie recipe, I found these Chocolate Fudge cookies and I knew they’d be great! They totally remind me of fudge turned cookie at Mackinac Island! So I really hope you like these cookies, Jeanette. I picked them out exclusively for you and yes, of course I taste tested them and they are super fab!

Yum! I think I might try to make these but without the nuts.

I just made these! My family won’t eat nuts so I added Heath toffee pieces and baked them on parchment paper….they were wonderful!!
