Meet Kristi from the blog Morrow Farm Fresh.

Mountain

Kristi was raised on her families dairy farm in Pennsylvania, the same farm my mom was raised on. Yes, Kristi is my cousin!

The farm has been in the family for going on six generations. My uncle takes care of the day to day chores along with help from my cousin Mary.

This is by far one of my favorite pictures, my granddaddy and uncle overlooking the farm.

They milk around 60, mostly Guernsey, dairy cows. Their cows are outside, on pasture, when the season and weather permit.

Kristi has lived both big city and country life and currently resides near Philadelphia. You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t fully take the country out of the girl. Kristi still maintains her vegetable garden at the farm.

Kristi blogs about her gardening adventures, here are a couple of her posts.

As if her gardening and culinary skills weren’t enough Kristi is also very crafty and has another blog and Etsy Store, Sweet K.M, where she features sewing ideas and knitting patterns.  There are a lot of cute ideas and free patterns, so be sure to check it out!

I agree with Megan from Gal in the Middle! I’m hooked! What a talented lady with her farm roots obviously following her in to the world of urban. Nice to meet you Kristi!
