If your idea of having something ready to serve for Christmas or a holiday party includes the thought of unwrapping Little Debbie Christmas Trees, then here are some easy party recipes to the rescue!

Between a hectic basketball season schedule for our son and work commitments, my husband and I host an annual holiday party for our top customers from the year and all of our contractors. I have been hosting this party for about five years and my recipes now can be completed by memory. I also love adding a new one or two each year.

Here is a collection that have been easy and crowd pleasing.

Bacon Wrapped BBQ Jalapeno Poppers  take a little time to get ready but can be done ahead of time. They freeze great and then I bake just before I want to serve them. I add chopped canned peaches to the cream cheese and brush on bottled BBQ sauce of choice on these.

Potato Skins are also from The Pioneer Woman and my husband’s favorite.

capresesmallI can never make enough of Caprese On A Stick from Wife of  Dairyman. These quickly disappear at any party!

Thai Appetizer Pizza was new last year and a big hit. (If you need to make these peanut-free for allergy reasons which I do for a friend, substitute SunButter, made from North Dakota grown sunflowers or WOW Butter, made from soybeans and skip the nuts.)

cranberrydipCranberry Cream Cheese Dip I started making two years ago and is now my favorite appetizer. It’s colorful, fresh and so tasty!

FruitpizzaMy daughter, Elizabeth, is in kindergarten and has mastered Fruit Pizza.

In 2000, I printed off my first Martha Stewart recipe for a New Years Eve Party. It was for CheeseBall, Three Ways and I still prepare it annually.

Comfort Meatballs, another PW classic and they are a year round favorite for our family. But they also make a great party recipe! After browning, I put these in the Crock-Pot with the ketchup sauce covering and cook on low for a few hours until bubbly.

PartyPunchThe Best Party Punch is just that. You can’t have a party with out punch! I make this recipe year round for any party and it is always a hit.

New recipes I plan to try this Christmas and holiday party season include:

26 Appetizer and Dip Recipes the CROCK! from Cris

To change-up from the three cheese balls I’ve been making for years, I am trying Cranberry Walnut Cheese ball from my fellow Real Farmwives friend Amy.

Lana has a tasty recipe for Cheeseburger Pie that will feed my hungry teenager. He can’t just nimble on appetizers. This pie should feed him and leave the appetizers for our guests!

What’s your favorite go-to easy party recipe? If it’s unwrapped Little Debbie Christmas Trees, I understand but I hope you have time to try one of these recipes this year.
