It’s the most magical time of the year, especially if you have kids.  One of our favorite things to do on Christmas Eve is to track Santa’s sleigh using NORAD.   To see the excitement and amazement on my kids’ face when they see where Santa is is so much fun!  Of course, it helps get them to bed easier also because they like to see how close Santa is to our house!

You can check NORAD all throughout the year to see the countdown to Christmas and play fun games.

Another site that my kids love and I find them checking quite often to see if they are on the naughty or nice list is  They even type in all other family members (including me) and their friends.  So watch out!  Hopefully, your kids don’t find you on the naughty list or you may have some explaining to do! ;)

Just imagine the excitement on your kids’ faces when they actually get a phone call from the jolly old elf himself!  Check out A Call From Santa for more information and how you can get Santa to call your kids!

Of course, there’s no greater joy than seeing your kids’ face on Christmas morning when they see presents under the Christmas tree.  Don’t forget to have your camera in your hand to capture the moment, but remember to enjoy the present also.  Don’t spend all of Christmas behind the lens.  And don’t worry about capturing the best composed shot, with the proper lighting.  Lighting can be tricky during the holidays.  Just capture the moment and don’t stress about the details!

From our family to yours, Merry Christmas!
